A dog lover first, photographer second.
With a lot of hard work and a little luck thrown in, I was able to combine the two loves into the coolest job ever: A Dog Photographer.
I grew up in a family where dogs were always an integral part of our lives and most importantly, members of the family. Most of my childhood was spent with various Basset Hounds of the lovable but extremely stubborn variety. We never had less than 2 at any given time, sometimes 3, and the occasional stray that one of us would bring home for a visit.
After a short stint doing portrait work, which I still love, I realized my true calling Ultram 50mg http://hotcanadianpharmacy.com/drugs/Tramadol/ without prescription is capturing the essence and personality of dogs. Upon reflection, I feel that my time doing portrait work was not wasted. Because of it, my experience with portrait work flows beautifully into working with people and their dogs.
Over the years my work has been featured on the covers of various books (including this very special one with Miss Gracie), Calendars, Magazines including 425 Magazine & Professional Photographer Magazine, and all around the world wide web. I also regularly look for opportunities to donate my time or work to various non-profit organizations that benefit dogs.
My sweet little family includes my husband Jim, Maggie (5) and Cassie (2.5). We lost our beautiful Great Dane – Miss Gracie in April of 2015. We miss her dearly but take comfort in knowing she had the best life ever.
Trying to balance marriage, a career, and being a Mommy has been challenging but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every day is an adventure and I’m glad you are here sharing it with me.
