Chester + Lacey posed for their Christmas Card this weekend. How perfect to have a Christmas Cart on your Christmas Card!

Gracie Claus

In honor of me finding the holiday station early (Christmas Music 24/7) I decided to spruce up the logo with a little holiday cheer.

Right now I am calling her Gracie Claus or Grace Kringle, but if someone leaves me a comment with something a little more original (and I choose it) well then I’ll send you a little dog holiday goodness!

Isn’t she cute? She will live on my site and as the blog post divider all throughout the holiday season!

    Okay, so I was talking with one of our AD’s about this and here is what he came up with:

    1. Deck the halls with growls of Gracie. Rarr rar rar rar rar rar rar rar rar.

    2. I, personally, love the idea of dressing a dog as a reindeer. Or maybe The Grinch. (The Gracie Who Stole Christmas?) For the reindeer thing, you could set up a shot where Gracie, dressed as a reindeer, is standing next to a sign that reads “Reindeer rides, $1. Elves ride free.”

The Trailer Park

I wish I could say that this was a well thought out and heavily planned shoot but I would be lying.

I’ve had a rough idea of a trailer park shoot with a dog for awhile but life has been a little too busy to execute it. However, when this weekend showed up and my friend Janice said she had a cocktail dress in the car, it was on. If you haven’t already noticed, I have a thing for dresses + dogs.

We used Lacey Girl, who is probably the most well behaved, precious, gorgeous, and sweetest girl to have ever been born. Well, except for Gracie of course. But I think Lacey might even be a bit sweeter than Gracie.

Janice was the best sport because it was NOT warm out.

Tomorrow I’ll post the shots from the road. They are so beautiful.

I think I will wait until I get the new wide format Epson I just ordered (so exciting!) so I can hand print these babies on fine art velvet paper.
