This morning Gracie came in from outside with the sweetest little cherry blossom stuck to her nose. She walked around with it on so long that I had to take a shot of it. There might be a little leftover yogurt from breakfast further up the snout too :)

State of the Union

For those that follow me on facebook or twitter, you already know the news but I thought that I owed at least some kind of explanation to my general blog audience for my extended absence.

For the last few months I have been so sick and extremely tired…but for a very exciting reason!

Gracie is going to be a big sister! Miss G is still warming up to the idea of not being an only child but I think she’ll be just fine. She’s getting lots of extra loves, treats, and walks until August.

This is their first sibling shot together…aren’t they cute?

Oh Look … A Blog Post!

Hi Friends.

I know its been awhile since I have done a blog post.

I wish I had a better explanation as to why, but quite simply, I haven’t felt like picking up my camera in ages. Maybe it is just because it is winter. I hope so. I decided not to put any pressure on myself and just work through it.

Even today I didn’t feel like picking up my camera but I forced myself to get it out and do just a few shots of Gracie girl. I love her so much.

I hope to find my motivation here soon! I think I’m on my way.

The 35 1.4 still hasn’t come off my camera since getting here. We are BFF’s!

If you live on the Eastside, 425 Magazine is where it’s at! I love this magazine for its clean design, content rich articles, and beautiful photography.

It really is such a small world. One of the editors was a guest/friend at the only wedding I shot all year and Chris + Jessica’s wedding ended up in this months January/February issue.

I especially love this one.

And oh look! A certain peanut head made it in there too!
