I just wanted to post a little update that the calendar is officially closed for 2008.
With the holidays, the darkness, the rain, and the holiday deadlines of my various vendors it just seems like the right time. I promised myself that I wouldn’t overextend this holiday season so that I could actually enjoy myself. I kept my promise!
But don’t worry, I already have a list rolling for January and by February we’ll have light again!
Life Is Good

Life is good because I get to sleep on my Mom + Dad’s bed all day
And sleep directly on their pillows
And every so often, I change positions
Life is good because I have lots of fun toys to play with and they all have names. This is Ozzie but sometimes my Dad forgets his name and calls him Archie.
So now he has 2 names.
Life is good because my Mom likes to do different photo series and I get to play with her. This one was my favorite because her gum tasted good. But don’t worry, she didn’t let me eat it.
Life is good because Twilight comes out today and I like to pretend I am a Vampire
Life is good because I can get anything I want if I just pout hard enough
Life Is Good because I know how to make my Mom laugh when she is having a hard day. My flying lips and wrinkled forehead are her favorite.

The Girl, The Dress, The Dog, The Road

After we finished our trailer park shoot, I wanted to do one more concept. I was actually hesitant to hit the road with the girl, the dress, and the dog because I had already done it before, but the green dress was just begging to be paired with the yellow line in the road, so I broke my own internal rule and went back.
Besides, my little country road and I have a special relationship.
This is my favorite image from the shoot so I thought I would show it in both versions because they each take on a really different feel.
