Mercedes

I came out of retirement this weekend to shoot a family session. I was chatting with Mom a few weeks ago and she was mentioning that she was going to take her 6 month daughter down the street to a studio. She told me which one and I promptly replied with “Let me shoot your family”. I only shoot families if I offer and I don’t offer very often. I find them incredibly hard and strongly believe it is best to go to a photographer who specializes in families. I have a handful of amazing Seattle children photographers that I refer to regularly.

But their daughter is ADORABLE and their dog is their first child, so I was happy to do it.

Miss Mercedes is 7 and is part Beagle + part Cattle Dog. Mixed breeds fascinate me, especially Mercedes because you can clearly see both breeds.

Tomorrow I’ll show Audrey + Mercedes together. Hilarious!

Sarah Bussey - These are great. I love love love the last shot. So cute

Emilee - I love how you can tell the mix of breeds: beagle in front, cattle dog in the back! She's such a pretty dog, and she has the richest sounding name. The rug is awesome. :)

Jane & Nelson - Hi Ya Erin! Great photos! It's small world..I know Mercedes & her family too. :-) Very cute.

nick - I love those 3 B/w shots in the middle :)

Jill - so cute! I love the green rug.

Brent - Nice! I have two cattle dogs myself. Looked at the first picture and was thinking, "I just don't see any cattle dog there". Then of course, I scrolled down and saw the hind end, no mistaking that!

Melissa - One of the cutest dog behinds I've seen!

TwoBarkingDogs - Wonderful shots! I love the B/W shot of Mercedes looking out the window. I have one of those somewhere of my two mutts looking out the window together. Must go look for it. Thanks again for some great art!

Jennifer - i love her! the one of her paws on the window sill is my fav! very nice work erin!! bravo =)
