This weekend I shot Katie’s Bridal pictures (of Ben + Katie). They are getting married in Texas next month and she wanted to do Bridal’s before the wedding.
Bridal’s aren’t very common in the Pacific Northwest, so I really didn’t have that much (or any) experience to draw from. Let me rephrase that…I had NO idea what the hell I was doing. When that happens, I just go with my gut and do things my way.
I think her Mom was going to have a heart attack when I told her daughter to RUN in her dress in the MIDDLE of the road. When that happens, I usually know I am on the right track :)

Erin, you CRACK me up! LOVe that photo! I had a wedding over the weekend and I’m NOT a wedding photog, altough I was coerced into doing one this past winter. I’m a children/family/pet photog so I didn’t know what the hell I was doing either. I took 1100 photos! LOL Anyway, I have a couple funny although a bit “OUT OF THE BOX” I’d love to share with you! Email me and I’ll send them to you…they are a bit risque but hysterical and the couple was up for anything!
Long time viewer, first time to write… Your photos are always nothing short of fantastic. Gracie has convinced me and my wife to try a “gentle giant” instead of another labrador. Love the way you have started placing your url watermark “creatively” within the photos…
