I am a dog lover first.

A photographer second.

By some random chance of fate, I was able to combine the two loves into the coolest job ever: A Dog Photographer

I grew up in a family where dogs were always an integral part of our lives and most importantly, members of the family. Most of my childhood was spent with various Basset Hounds of the lovable but extremely stubborn variety. We never had less than 2 at any given time, sometimes 3, and the occasional stray that one of us would bring home for a visit.

After a short stint doing portrait work, which I still love, I realized my true calling is capturing the essence and personality of dogs. Upon reflection, I feel that my time doing portrait work was not wasted. Because of it, my experience with portrait work flows beautifully into working with people and their dogs.

My husband and I are owned by the fabulous Miss Gracie, a 5 year old Great Dane who brings energy and life into our house. You’ll see her around here a lot, she loves having her portrait taken (at least I like to think so). She is a complete Diva and if you stick around long enough, you'll know what I'm talking about!

What an amazing adventure this has been so far. I’m so glad you are here experiencing it with me.

I don’t get to shoot puppies that often, so I consider it an extra special treat when one comes my way. Augustus surely did not disappoint!

Clients generally receive 50 to 60 gorgeous photos to choose from after their session. Due to the high amount, I always find it so hard to decide what images to share here. This one was especially hard because it was just one of those magical days where everything fell perfetly into place. We were able to get such a lovely variety of photos and I don’t envy her the difficult choice of narrowing down what goes on the wall!

Matt Nicolosi - Good grief, Erin... you're killin' me here. I'm trying to hold out on getting a new puppy 'til January when I get settled in a new house, but images like this make me think I can't hold out past August. Fantastic stuff.

Anna Jones - these are incredible - what a sweet baby, and that first one is to die for - WOW!

Josh Solar - Yes...he is the cutest puppy ever and I want 3 (one for each kiddo). Awesome job as usual:)

Melissa - I love them all, too. But especially the first two with his coloring against the whiteness of the room. Super-duper!

Erin - Beth - They are natural light but we had the lights on which gave the room a tinted coloring to it Normally I have them off but I liked how it made the room look so I left them on.

Beth - Erin, The 1st two photos...natural light? flash? post process? for that white white look? Thanks I've been taking photos of a friends litter of 3 BMD puppy since they have been a day old, what fun!

Shelley - I want one, I want one, I want one! And I have a 7mo old Golden, but if you put this puppy in front of me, I'd take it for sure. Amazing job capturing so many great shots! I've been admiring your work for awhile, thanks for the great inspiration!
