I love your photography, your great heart and fun blog and website. Just so great and so glad someone made your day! Your Gracie is just adorable.

  4. Oops, my last comment in the previous post was meant to be here… chalk it up to internet tube glitches, sorry about that!

  5. I am seriously sitting looking through this series laughing my arse off! She is the definition of class =) I. Love. Her. Well, 2nd to Cooper but I am sure you understand!

  6. Rob   -

Erin - Does the flashlight help with creating a catch light in the eyes? I’ve been using a laser pointer for a couple of years and dogs and cats both seem to like it (not all). I like the laser because it is so small and bright.

  7. Jenny   -

The same works for me when I take pictures of our cat.
    Beautiful shots!

  8. tara   -

i just caught up on the posts.

and every time i come here i ache for a doggie.

  9. Sara   -

I just stumbled upon your site…..Gracie is BEAUTIFUL. She has so much expression in her face! I love her! I have a German Shepherd mix and she was born with full size ears too, they were a riot! I love, love, love your work :)

  10. Amy   -

I was laughing so hard at these! Gracie is so full of personality :) Our dane is still a little thin since she came from a rescue, so I can’t wait to see her filled out and full size like Gracie!

  11. Angela   -

Cheeky! She is such a good girl putting up with your antics to get “that shot”

BTW I’ve tagged you. Head on over to the blog at angelahiggins.com/blog to check it out.

    thanks
    ange

  12. michelle   -

  14. erin…i LOVE these!! she’s so DANG cute!! i’m smiling ear to ear right now, thank you for that…please give miss gracie a treat for me!! : )

  15. Emilee   -

Buddy is the same way! Only he’s much crazier. I let him chase a laser twice, and now any relfection or light makes him crazy, and flashlights are no exception! Well, at least I know he’s not the only one. BTW, I’m loving the Gracie posts! And I think I have that same flashlight! :)

  16. Nicole   -

Is this your secret on all dogs you photograph or just her?

I’m a dog walker and one of my clients is addicted to laser light.. ahh!! Also a friend once let hers play with a laser light and now anytime the dog sees a light or a reflection or a flash.. she goes NUTS!!!

  17. Chara Michele   -

Oh she is so cute :) Love the little trick!

  18. Erin, you really came through — LOTS of Gracie. Irresistible Gracie!! Love that last shot. One of my all time favorites. Our dogs go a little silly for the laser…

  19. Hilarious! I love each different expression and angle. I’ve never tried this technique before, but I must give it a go.

  20. Brent M   -

I miss my Belle!! That series so much reminds me of her. Too funny. I was laughing out loud looking thru these. :)
