Her official name is Lola Bean Wood.

These next two shots make me laugh because to get her attention I was grabbing handfulls of grass and letting them float down around her face. She was jumping to catch them.

Grass is yummy!

A single piece of grass stuck to her face. But I liked it, so I left it there.

Is very hard work

Look Twice
Over time, I have learned to look twice through my viewfinder before I leave a particular setting.
The first time I look through it is to actually visualize what type of shot I want to take.
The second time I look through it is to see if there is anything I need to move, eliminate, or rearrange.
The reason I do this is to try to get the shot right in camera and to eliminate as much post work as possible.
Look how distracting the leash is in this shot.

I saw the leash on my second look and asked her to slowly drop it behind the dog making an ordinary shot into a great one. You can still see the leash, but it is no longer a focal point within the shot.

Medium Sam
Sweet little Sam is not so little anymore, but has stayed just as sweet as he was at 7 weeks.
Now that above sentence would be a perfect tongue twister. Say it again 3 times in a row.
Here is the little fluffball at 7 weeks

Those whiskers (on the right) make me want to drop everything right now and go out and get a golden puppy.

And here he is at 6 months, growing into quite the handsome man. He has one of the best temperaments I have met in any dog to date (besides Miss Gracie of course). Just a complete sweetheart.

As I was moving things around, I put the above pictures together and saw the line meet in the middle. I thought it looked neato so I took a minute to play. I like it.

Basking
Even dogs do a little sunbathing every now and then.
This is one of my new favorite shots.

Gracers
Gracie stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa this weekend. I missed her a lot, but luckily they sent me a few pictures of her laying in the sliver of sun with her piggy.
